From Scentral to Franchise Owners

At Scenthound, our mission has always been clear: help dogs live longer, healthier lives while creating a supportive, values-driven community for people who love them. What makes us especially proud is that this mission isn’t just attracting franchise partners from the outside—

it’s inspiring our own Scentral team members to invest in the brand and open locations of their own.

Over the past four years, seven corporate team members have made the leap from Scentrals to franchise owners, spreading Scenthound’s reach across five states. For us, this isn’t just a milestone—it’s a powerful testament to the strength of our brand, our proven business model, and the confidence our people have in our future.

“Our corporate team lives and breathes our mission every day, so when they choose to invest in Scenthound themselves, it speaks volumes,”[i] said Tim Vogel, co-founder and CEO of Scenthound.

Most recently, field operations manager Joe Carnesecchi and his family signed on to open three new locations on Florida’s Treasure Coast. Having spent years supporting franchisees from the corporate side, Joe has seen firsthand what makes Scenthound successful—and now he’s bringing that experience home to his community.

“Working on the corporate team has provided me with a unique perspective of what makes this brand so special,” said Carnesecchi. “It’s like being part of a larger family, one that genuinely cares about its mission and each other. I’m thrilled to bring my own family into the fold and share our passion for Scenthound in our home community.”[ii]

Earlier this year, former team member Chris Denault also joined the franchise family, opening a Scenter in Melbourne, Florida. Like Joe, Chris experienced the brand from the inside before making the decision to invest.

“Throughout my role with Scenthound, I witnessed first-hand the knowledge and tools that the brand provides its franchisees to ensure their success,” said Denault. “Because of this support, I was prompted to make a career shift and open my own Scenter.”[iii]

For us, these stories highlight more than just individual career shifts—they reflect a pattern. When the people who help build the system choose to invest their own time, energy, and money into the franchise, it shows just how much faith they have in our mission, our model, and our momentum.
